How we make them
3.1
Material
Single-piece moulding of vulcanised rubber. Food-grade silicone for Micro and Classic; natural rubber with EPDM additives for Designer, Mega and Architect. No plastic inserts, no metal inside, no glued seams.

Eyes
Paint, not inserts. Black pupil and white sclera, applied post-vulcanisation by hand with food-grade silicone dye that resists UV and water. Decoration only when the design allows.
3.2
By line
Injection for Micro. Compression for Classic. Hand-casting for Designer, ≤ 300 units. Rotational moulding with internal fibreglass frame for Mega. Sculptural casting against a CNC-milled master for Architect.
3.3
QC
Five checks per duck: visual, geometry, drop, smell, gravimetry. Architect gets ultrasonic frame inspection and an on-site assembly photo protocol.
3.4
Compliance
EN 71-3, REACH, no phthalates, no bisphenol A. Age marking on every package. Operating range −20 °C … +60 °C. Indoor only — UV degrades pigment after two years.
3.6
Packaging
Recycled cardboard for Micro, paper-pulp inserts for Classic, embossed card with paper certificate for Designer, double-wall corrugated for Mega, wooden crate with climate control for Architect.

Custom colour from a 12-pigment menu
Segment D — brand managers, event producers, hotels, retail. Pick from the Quacktory Pigment Menu: 12 branded Pantone-equivalents, body-through pigment, tinted before moulding. Not paint on top. Predictable lead time, predictable price.

A third-party Pantone is a new formula development: +2 weeks, +15% to the price. Custom geometry — a brand mascot, a new duck — is a separate project with a master model.
