§ 01 — the scale

from thumb to bear.

Five lines, one silhouette. Body proportions do not scale linearly — the 3 m duck reads as the same duck as the 4 cm one. That is the architectural move.

§ 02 — how we make it

one mould. two materials. five checks.

Single-piece vulcanised rubber. Food-grade silicone for the small. Natural rubber with EPDM additives for the large. No plastic inserts. No metal inside. No glued seams.

material

Vulcanised rubber, food-grade silicone compound (Micro, Classic) or natural rubber with EPDM additives (Designer, Mega, Architect). Pigment is mass-tinted before moulding — not painted on top.

eyes

Painted post-vulcanisation by hand with food-grade silicone dye. Black pupil, white sclera. UV- and water-resistant. The same mould relief across every SKU — the decoration is the colour, not the shape.

moulding

Injection (Micro, 45 s/cycle, 8-cavity steel). Compression (Classic, 3 min/cycle, aluminium). Hand-cast silicone mould (Designer, ≤300 units, 1/day/mould). Rotational (Mega, 2 h + 8 h cooling). Sculptural casting (Architect, 2–4 weeks).

five checks

Visual — no porosity, streaks, or short shots. Geometry — beak, eyes, feet present, proportions ±2%. Drop test — 5 drops from 1 m, no cracks (Micro, Classic). Smell — no "rubbery" off-note. Gravimetry — mass within ±3%. Architect gets ultrasonic frame inspection + on-site assembly photo protocol.

compliance

EN 71-3 (chemical migration). REACH — no phthalates, no bisphenol A. Age-marked on the packaging: Micro 4 cm "6+", Classic "3+", Designer "6+ (collector's object, not a toy)", Mega "Not a toy", Architect "Mounting by certified crew only".

care

Indoor only. −20 °C to +60 °C. Above +70 °C — deformation. Below −25 °C — embrittlement (especially Mega, Architect). Wash with warm water and mild soap. No abrasives, no alcohol, no bleach. Protect from direct UV (colour degrades after 2+ years) and from oils or solvents.

§ 03 — for brands and venues

A third-party Pantone is a separate conversation — new formula, +2 weeks to the lead time, +15% on the quote. A new duck shape (your brand mascot, a sculpted figure) is a master-model project, discussed individually.
