§ 03 — How we make ducks
One material.
One mould.
Five scales of effort.

Material
Single-piece moulding of vulcanised rubber — food-grade silicone for the small, EPDM-natural for the large. No inserts, no glued seams, no plastic inside.

Eyes
Paint, not inserts. Black pupil on white sclera, hand-applied post-vulcanisation with food-grade silicone dye. Resists UV and water.

Five checks
Visual inspection. Geometry within ±2%. Drop test from 1 m. Smell test. Gravimetry within ±3%. Architect gets ultrasonic frame inspection on top.

Compliance
EN 71-3. REACH — no phthalates, no bisphenol A. Age-marked packaging. Indoor use only. −20 °C to +60 °C. Above +70 °C, the duck deforms. Below −25 °C, it embrittles.
Wash with warm water and mild soap. No abrasives, no alcohol, no bleach. Protect from direct UV — colour degrades after 2+ years of sun. Care card & QR shipped with every SKU.
