How we make them

No plastic inserts. No metal inside. No glued seams. One piece of cast rubber, painted by hand, checked five times before it leaves the studio.

Material

Single-cast vulcanised rubber. Food-grade silicone for the small ducks, natural rubber with EPDM additives for the larger ones. The whole duck is one pour, not an assembly.

Eyes

Painted, not inserted. Black pupil on a white sclera, the same base relief on every SKU. Decoration (sparkle, heart, star) only appears when the chosen design register asks for it — by default, a clean round eye.

By line

Micro is injection-moulded, 45 seconds per cycle. Classic is compression-moulded. Designer is hand-cast in silicone moulds for runs of 300 or fewer. Mega is rotationally moulded over a fibreglass armature. Architect is poured over a CNC-milled master with internal steel ribs.

Five checks

Visual inspection. Geometry within two per cent of the reference. A five-drop test from one metre for Micro and Classic. No rubbery smell — the signature of a clean cure. Gravimetric tolerance within three per cent. Architect gets ultrasonic testing on the welded armature and a photo log of the install.

Custom orders

Twelve brand-pigments cast through the rubber, not painted on top. Your Pantone — discussed. Your geometry — discussed harder.
