QUACKTORY

Serious ducks for un-serious people.

We make ducks you'll want to keep on a shelf rather than float in a bath. Small ones — in your pocket. Big ones — in the lobby. All of them — in the frame.

§ 01 — The scale

One silhouette. From a thumb to a bear.

Five lineups isn't five different ducks. It's five sizes of one and the same form. The architectural move: the Architect body must read as "the same duck as the Micro", not as a slightly enlarged one.

§ 02 — Production

Single-piece rubber.
No plastic, no glue, no metal inside.

Material and eyes

Body: single-piece moulding of vulcanised rubber — food-grade silicone compound (Micro / Classic) or natural rubber with EPDM additives (Designer / Mega / Architect).

The eyes are paint, not inserts. Pigment is applied by hand after vulcanisation with food-grade silicone dye. UV- and water-resistant.

Technology by lineup

Micro
injection moulding under pressure · steel tool, 8 cavities · ~45 sec/cycle
Classic
compression moulding · aluminium tool, 1–2 cavities · ~3 min/cycle
Designer
hand-poured into silicone flask (≤300 pcs) or compression (>300) · 1 cycle/day
Mega
rotational moulding · split steel mould + fibreglass frame · ~2 h + 8 h cooling
Architect
sculptural casting around a master model · 2–4 weeks per duck

QC — five checks

  1. Visual inspection — no pores, no streaks, no under-fill.
  2. Geometry — beak, eyes, feet in place; proportions ±2%.
  3. Drop test — five drops from 1 m onto concrete without cracks.
  4. Smell test — no rubbery off-odour.
  5. Gravimetric check — mass within ±3% of the master.

Compliance and care

  • GOST 25779-83 · rubber toys
  • EN 71-3 · chemical migration
  • REACH · phthalate-free and BPA-free

Care: warm water + mild soap. No abrasives, alcohols or bleach. Temperature range: −20 °C … +60 °C. Indoor use only. Keep out of direct UV and oils.

§ 03 — Custom

Twelve signature pigments.
Not a surface paint job — solid colour through the body.

Custom for the B2B segment means choosing from a branded palette (TPM — the Quacktory Pigment Menu). The mass is dyed BEFORE moulding, so fastness and price stay predictable.

A fully custom colour (an outside Pantone) is treated as a new-formula development: +2 weeks to the lead time, +15% to the price. Custom geometry is its own project with its own master model.
